Particle Psychotherapy and Consulting
Zareh ذره : particle- a reminder of our place in the universe and our connection to all things
A safe space to land.
At Particle Psychotherapy and Consulting, my work is dedicated to empowering individuals (21+) and couples to cultivate safe spaces within themselves to process their inner experiences and resolve that which keeps them stuck. I specialize in working with children of immigrants, biracial identities, those with histories of trauma including intimate partner violence and childhood abuse, as well as the LGBTQIA, kinky + polyamorous communities.
Using an eclectic approach, I incorporate modalities including EMDR, attachment theory, parts work/ ego state work, and somatic focused therapy.
My Story
As a second generation Iranian American and daughter of an immigrant, I value the nuanced spaces in which our identities exist. I believe that holding space for these layers is necessary for our healing individually and collectively. Much of my work stems from shared lived experiences with many of the communities I serve, including the immigrant, queer, kinky, and polyamorous communities.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW- LW61474734) in the state of Washington. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with a clinical concentration from Boston University. I have worked closely with survivors of intimate partner violence, Military members and their families, supporting individuals in processing intergenerational trauma, histories of substance use, as well as child sexual abuse and complex trauma.
I have completed additional trauma training including EMDR Level 1 & 2, and Ego State Interventions for individuals with dissociation and complex trauma.

My Approach
My approach to therapy is one that recognizes and deeply values the potential for human relationships to help us see the best parts of ourselves. With this comes understanding the ways in which we want to change and evolve, and the ways in which we can choose to heal and overcome. My role is to serve as a support; to partner, collaborate, and encourage my clients in their journeys.
I believe in the importance of individuals feeling safe in their bodies and incorporate somatic based practices of breath work, mindfulness, yoga, and movement for trauma processing to support this.
